Pilot Program: Onsite Avian Influenza Testing

From June to August 2023, DiaVac’s Mobile Testing team has visited five poultry farms across central Pennsylvania to demonstrate its mobile PCR testing capabilities for avian influenza virus. A total of over 650 broiler chicken, hens, ducks and turkeys’ samples were tested on site and later confirmed with Pennsylvania Animal Diagnostic Laboratory System (PADLS). DiaVac Mobile Testing team’s results are 100% consistent with PADLS. Please contact us, if interested, for a detailed testing result.
Detecting Avian Influenza Virus in Unpasteurized Milk

Since the fall of 2024, avian influenza virus was found in unpasteurized milk and in swab samples from cows in several states, DiaVac’s Mobile Testing team has begun to verify our mobile PCR testing capabilities to detect avian influenza virus in unpasteurized milk sample. Recently, we have published an article online and showed that our mobile PCR testing can detect avian influenza virus in unpasteurized milk with great sensitivity and accuracy.
